SANTA FE, NM (August 25, 2016) – Undefeated welterweight Bryant Perrella (14-0, 13 KOs) will battle Cuban contender Yordenis Ugas (16-3, 7 KOs) in a 10-round bout that headlines Premier Boxing Champions TOE-TO-TOE TUESDAYS on FS1 and BOXEO DE CAMPEONES on FOX Deportes from Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Televised coverage begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT and will feature exciting undercard contests to be announced shortly.

“I’m excited, healthy and I’ve never been more motivated to get back in the ring,” said Perrella. “My opponent had a big win in his last bout and it’s made this fight even bigger and better. He was very sharp in that fight so I know that I have to work very hard in training. We know he’ll be confident and we’ll be ready. With a great performance I can separate myself from the other prospects in the division.”

“I’m thankful for another opportunity to prove that I belong among the world’s best welterweights,” said Ugas. “I showed in my last fight what I can do when fully prepared and focused. Perrella is a good, tough fighter, but he has never seen anything like me. I am focused and ready to continue my march to the world championship.”

Tickets for the live event, which is promoted by Warriors Boxing and Holmes Boxing, are priced at $75, $60 and $50, and are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased by calling (505) 699-2845 or (505) 795-2772.

Perrella and Ugas were set to meet on August 12 before Perrella suffered a thumb injury that forced him to withdraw from the fight. Ugas ended up fighting previously unbeaten Jamal James and beating him via a unanimous decision. Now Ugas will look to beat another previously undefeated fighter while Perrella looks to further establish his place in the welterweight division.

Coming off of a second round stoppage over previously unbeaten David Grayton in June, the 27-year-old Perrella looks to take down another quality opponent when he enters the ring on September 27. Fighting out of Fort Meyers, Florida, the welterweight, who has trained with world champion Keith Thurman, enters this fight on an 11-bout streak of stopping his opponents inside of the distance.

A sensational Cuban amateur, Ugas picked up a Bronze medal at the 2008 Olympics and also owns Gold medals from the 2005 World Amateur Championships and 2007 Pan American Games. Now fighting out of Miami, the 29-year-old picked up victories over Cosme Rivera, Kenny Abril and Adan Hernandez before defeating James on August 12.
